Based on the core skills of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), this board game aims to teach kids a skill set that can help them become more resilient during stressful times. The four basic DBT skills developed while playing the game are mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and social skills. This therapeutic tool contains an engaging game board, 4 game pieces, 1 die, 80 tokens, a spinner, 80 game cards (20 Mindfulness, 20 Regulate Emotions, 20 Handle Stress, and 20 Social Skills). Players move through the game board and will receive tokens for their effort in answering questions that target these resiliency skills. The game provides a variety of strategies and scenarios that will help children develop coping skills to manage challenging life experiences.

It provides practical ideas on on how to implement our game and cards into your counseling program or therapy practice. It also includes an outcome tool we developed & piloted in order to assist in your data collection needs.
